3D Mammography is provided for all mammograms at Mercy Personal Physicians at Lutherville - including screening and diagnostic tests. 3D Screening mammograms are used to screen women for early signs of breast cancer and are offered to patients with no additional copay. 3D Diagnostic mammograms are used to diagnose patients who may have a noticeable lump or sign of an abnormality.
Ultrasound – Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to make computer images of internal body organs and structures. These images provide information to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases.
Vascular Laboratory – Our nationally accredited Vascular Laboratory provides advanced vascular ultrasound testing for a wide range of vascular disorders including abdominal aortic aneursym, carotid artery disease, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and circulatory problems related to diabetes.
X-ray – During an X-ray, different types of body tissue absorb varying amounts of radiation, creating black and white images doctors use to examine conditions such as cancer, bone fractures, osteoporosis and heart disease.
