Electrocardiogram – An electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG), which measures the electrical activity of the heart muscles, is used by cardiologists to diagnose cardiovascular conditions, such as heart attack and coronary heart disease.
Electromyogram – An electromyogram (EMG), which measures electrical activity of the body's muscles and nerves, is used to diagnose neurological disorders, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and myasthenia gravis.
Stress Testing – Cardiologists use stress testing, which measures blood flow to the heart, to diagnose and examine conditions including heart attack, arrhythmias and coronary artery disease.
